Ritrovata nelle zone alto collinari dell’Umbria, non se ne conosce l’origine. Rara e ormai poco diffusa. Fa parte del grande gruppo delle mele Rosa. L’albero è poco vigoroso e a portamento espanso. Fioritura n epoca media. Produzione su lamburde. Il frutto è di pezzatura media perfettamente rotodo e simmetrico schiacciato ai poli. La buccia è gialla quasi completamente coperta da sovra colore rosso brillante con lenticelle grandi bianche molto evidenti. La polpa è bianca,  croccante acidula e di ottimo sapore. Molto serbevole.

Found in the high hilly areas of Umbria, its origin is unknown. Rare and now not very common. It is part of the large group of Rosa apples. The tree is not very vigorous and has an expanded habit. Flowering in medium period. Production only on  fruit buds (lamburde). The fruit is medium sized perfectly round and symmetrical flattened at the poles. The peel is yellow almost completely covered by a bright red over color with very evident large white lenticels. The pulp is white, crunchy, acidulous and of excellent flavor. Very long-lasting.
