Ritrovata nella zona di Pietralunga al confine con le Marche. Citata già dal 1500 e descritta da Costanzo Felici tra le varietà di pregio della zona. Albero poco vigoroso e a portamento espanso. Fioritura tardiva e maturazione nella prima decade di settembre. Il frutto è  di pezzatura media, piriforme allargato.  La buccia di colore base verde e con copertura del colore rosso mattone, molto intensa. Lenticelle  numerose e rugginose evidenti . picciolo di lunghezza media, polpa di colore crema,  mediamente granulosa, alla maturazione liquescente, molto aromatica  e dolce. Poco serbevole.

Found in the Pietralunga area on the border with the Marche. Mentioned as early as 1500 and described by Costanzo Felici among the prestigious varieties of the area. Not very vigorous and spreading tree. Late flowering and ripening in the first ten days of September. The fruit is of medium size, enlarged pyriform. The peel has a green base color and a brick red covering, very intense. Numerous and rusty lenticels evident.  Petiole of medium length, cream-colored pulp, medium-grained, when ripe, very aromatic and sweet. Not very storable.
