Ritrovata nella zona di Pietralunga, al confine con le Marche, citata e descritta fin dal 1500 nei testi di Aldrovandi e Costanzo Felici. Albero vigoroso a forma espansa. Fioritura tardiva e raccolta in ottobre, si conserva  per circa due mesi. Frutto globoso appiattito alla base,  quasi maliforme , la buccia è verde anche a maturità, numerose lenticelle evidenti  e rugginose, polpa bianca vitrea, molto granulosa.  Peduncolo di media grossezza  , medio lungo.  Maturazione invernale da raccogliere e lasciare ammorbidire in fruttaio, o da cottura.

Found in the Pietralunga area, on the border with the Marche, cited and described since 1500 in the texts of Aldrovandi and Costanzo Felici. Vigorous tree with an expanded form. Late flowering and harvested in October, it can be kept for about two months. Globose fruit flattened at the base, almost appleshape, the skin is green even when ripe, numerous evident and rusty lenticels, vitreous white pulp, very sandy. Peduncle of medium thickness, medium long. Winter ripening to be harvested and left to soften in the loft, or from cooking.
